The certification tests a candidates' understanding of Healthcare regulatory requirements, healthcare terminology and acronyms, computer H/W & S/W, code of conduct policies, and how to best apply these skills in a healthcare setting such that the IT systems are in compliance with healthcare rules and regulations.
The exam contains 75 questions that must be answered within 60 minutes. The passing score is 650 on a scale of 100-900. The certification requires you to pass only one exam - the HIT-001 exam.
