What is A+ IT Technician exam?

CompTIA’s A+ IT Technician exam is designed to measure your ability to support computers and install, configure, troubleshoot, optimize, diagnose and perform preventive maintenance in the field or in organizations. This test is an elective for the A+ certification. You now have to pass two exams to achieve the new A+ certification. The A+ Essentials is the mandatory exam and the other two electives are A Remote Technician and A+ Depot technician.

How to prepare for A+ IT Technician exam?

The CompTIA test 220-602 is meant for entry-level computer technicians. In order to achieve CompTIA A+ certification, a candidate must register for and pass the CompTIA A+ Essentials and any of the elective exams. However, those who have already achieved A+ certification can upgrade by taking only the core exam or any of the elective exams. The CompTIA test 220-602 measures an individual’s ability to manage an operating system on a stand-alone computer as well as on a client computer in a network.
