Certified Wireless Specialist (CWS) Certification: The CWS certification is a vendor-neutral, entry-level WLAN certification that validates a candidate's knowledge of wireless sales, marketing, entry-level support, and decision-making related to 802.11 wireless networks.
Certified Wireless Technician (CWT) Certification: The CWT-100 certification exam validates a candidate's expertise in understanding basic RF hardware and functions; identifying 802.11 features and functions; identifying Wireless LAN hardware and software; and understanding organizational goals.

If the first time you take the exam you do not pass, you must wait at least 10 days to retake the CWNA, CWSP, CWAP, CWDP exams. A 10-day waiting period will be imposed for all subsequent exam retakes. If you have passed an exam, you cannot take it again unless you are trying to become a CWNT and have received prior written permission from the CWNP Program.
You may retake the CWS or CWT exam after 24 hours by purchasing an exam voucher and retaking the online exam.
