CCNA Certification

The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is an entry-level certification, which is a pre-requisite for all the advanced level Cisco certifications such as CCNP and CCIE. It validates the skills of networking professionals to install, configure and troubleshoot routed and switched networks. CCNA Certified professionals are capable of implementing and verifying connections to remote sites in a WAN. Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) is a new professional-level Certification. This certification is an entry path to develop your career as a LAN Network Engineer, Enterprise Infrastructure Architect, or EP Lead Consultant (eCommerce) in the networking field. With a CCDA certification, a network professional can design credentials at the mid-level help advance the quality of networks that are implemented in the enterprise but also reward you professionally with higher salaries and career advancement. This Cisco CCSP certification exam is Cisco's Professional-level security certification. This certification is designed for those candidates who are able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of designing and implementing cisco secure networks, as well as having skills in areas such as VPN's, firewalls, intrusion detection systems and security management. The certification requires you to pass four exams, out of which three are required and one is elective:

Required Exams:

  • Securing Networks with Cisco Routers and Switches
  • Cisco FIREWALL v1.0
  • Cisco IPS v7.0

Elective Exams (any one):

  • MARS
  • NAC Appliance
  • VPN v1.0

The CCDP certification is Cisco's Professional-level certification designed to reflect advanced knowledge of, and experience in, network design. A CCDP certified individual should be able to design routed and switched networks involving LAN, WAN, and dial access services, applying modular design practices and making sure the whole solution responds optimally to the business and technical needs of the client. This CCIP certification is designed for those who are working, or wanting to work, in service provider organizations. CCIP certified professional have a good working knowledge of networking technologies applicable to service providers, including IP routing, IP QoS, BGP, and MPLS. The certification requires you to pass the following 4 exams:

  • Implementing Cisco IP Routing
  • Quality of Service
  • Implementing Cisco MPLS
  • Configuring BGP on Cisco Routers

There is a composite exam that can be done in place some of the above. BGP MPLS Exam (composite in place of 642-611 and 642-661exam)

The CCNP certification is Cisco's professional-level networking certification. Candidates who earn this accreditation are able to install, configure and troubleshoot LAN's and WAN's, and can do so for small and large enterprises alike. This CCNP test cover a wide range of networking concepts with attention given to specialized topics such as security, converged networks, quality of service (QoS), virtual private networks (VPN) and broadband technologies. CCNA Wireless

Cisco Certified Network Associate Wireless (CCNA Wireless) is a new Associate-level Certification. This certification is an entry path to develop your career in wireless networking field. CCNA Wireless Certification develops a skill to configure, implement, and troubleshoot wireless LANs, specially the networks that are using Cisco equipments. With this certification, a network professional can support a basic wireless broadband network on aCisco WLAN in a SMB to enterprise network. The CCNA Wireless syllabus have information and practice activities for candidates to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot basic tasks of a Cisco WLAN in SMB and Enterprise networks.

CCNA Security

This Cisco CCNA Security certification exam certifies associate-level knowledge and skills required to secure Cisco networks. With the help of this exam, a professional learn how to develop a security infrastructure, recognize threats and vulnerabilities to networks, and mitigate security threats. The CCNA Security highlights core security technologies, the installation, troubleshooting and monitoring of network devices to maintain integrity, confidentiality and availability of data and devices, and competency in the technologies that Cisco uses in its security structure.
