Tudor Barbu is a Software developer with expertise in both client and server side development, aspiring guru on the client side disciplines such as Javascript and CSS, passionate with web security, usability and web standards evangelist.

Presently Tudor works at Zitec, his tasks are manly programming related. He works in teams of 2 to 4 developers on the company’s products, with technologies like PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, bash scripting and sometimes Java or python. Projects vary greatly in their complexity. For a project he had written a multi-threaded socket server in PHP (using the PNCTL library).

Tudor also works as a primary instructor for the PHP and CSS/Javascript courses at LEC. Aside from actual teaching the courses, his duties also include writing course materials and working on the company’s site (built by him on Drupal).

Prior to this , Tudor has worked with the Navidoo group which  was created as a new agency of “the group”, the entire development team from new/media was moved here under new management and Tudor was appointed team leader.
