International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium’s: CISSP certification is an advanced-level certification designed to ensure skills and knowledge required for IT security professionals to engineer, implement, manage, and design the overall information security program to protect organizations from growing sophisticated attacks. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of direct full-time professional security work experience in two or more of the ten domains of the (ISC2) Certified Information Systems Security Professional CBK. Candidates may receive a one-year experience waiver with a four-year college degree, or regional equivalent OR additional credential from the (ISC2) approved the list, thus requiring four years of direct full-time professional security work experience in two or more of the ten domains of the ISC2 CISSP CBK.
