- ...establishes an essential set of credentials that resellers today need to be successful.
IT Managers believe...
- Certified employees are worth more, commanding premium salaries.
- Certification is used by 44% of managers as basis for selecting contractors.
- Certified employees deliver more value.
And since you can't frame your experience on the wall behind your desk, you'll have to make do with certification diplomas.
Don't Forget the Salaries...
One of the most important reasons is the direct effect of certification on salaries. If you get certified, can you expect to see your salary go up? According to the surveys conducted, 42% of responders said they received a promotion as a result of certification; even more, 58 % believed that certification helped in boosting their income. And those increases could be substantial: A full 21 % said they received a raise of 15% or more.
