About the Program

Elevate America is an initiative launched by Microsoft to help strengthen the U.S economy and also to help workers obtain or retain technology jobs. This initiative provides for one million free vouchers from Microsoft good towards free online training and certification for select Microsoft courses. offering free e-learning courses and certification, at no cost to recipients. Although this is a country wide effort launched in 2009, several states are still offering vouchers or are scheduled to offer vouchers in the near future.

Who can participate in the program?

The vouchers are available to all employed or unemployed individuals, who want to upgrade their technology skills and make themselves more marketable in this tough economy. A major focus of this program is also to get our veterans, particularly the thousands of young men and women who are too young to have had the luxury of good education or industry work experience. This program is a great way to provide our servicemen the technology training and certification that many employers are looking for today.

How does the program work?

1. Get a voucher: The best way to do this is with a government agency such as EDD, or an organization such as Career One Stop can assist you with locating a voucher.
2. Free learning to help you get to the next level
   As we said earlier, this is not rocket science, but not having structured training sessions, can make it a confusing and frustrating journey. Get help on your certification test preparation.
3. Take the Certification Exam
   Once you are sure you are ready for the exam and have practiced efficiently with our practice kids, take the exam. Very little to lose and much to gain.
