LPI LPIC-2: Advanced Level Linux Professional certification is a multi-level credential designed to ensure skills and knowledge required for IT professionals to plan, implement, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot a small mixed (MS, Linux) network; administer small to medium sized mixed networks; install and configure fundamental network services, including DHCP, DNS, SSH, Web servers, file servers using FTP, email delivery, NFS and Samba. The LPIC-2 certification validates candidate's foundational knowledge of securing Linux server, blocking threats before they turn into attacks. The certification exam tests knowledge of candidate in the areas such as creating and managing routers and route tables on your network, isolating servers from internet threats firewalling your networks, allowing clients access with NAT, and access to servers using port forwarding.
