• First Path: Pass the 70-552 Exam: Upgrade: MCAD Skills to MCPD Windows Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
or
• Second Path: Pass all of the three exams given below:
• 70-551 Exam:Upgrade: MCAD Skills to MCPD: Web Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
• 70-526 Exam: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 “ Windows-Based Client Development
• 70-548 Exam: PRO: Designing and Developing Windows-Based Applications by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework

If you are an MCAD: Web Developer, you can upgrade your certification to MCPD: Web Developer certification. You have to select any one from the following two paths to upgrade your certification:

• First Path: Pass 70-551 Exam: Upgrade: MCAD Skills to MCPD Web Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
or
• Second Path: Pass these three exams to upgrade your certification:
• 70-552 Exam: Upgrade: MCAD Skills to MCPD: Web Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
• 70-528 Exam: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 “ Web-Based Client Development
• 70-547 Exam: PRO: Designing and Developing Web-Based Applications by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework

If you have MCAD certification and you want to upgrade it to MCPD: Enterprise Application Developer certifcation, you can choose any one path from the following five paths. You have to pass 70-529 (Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 “ Distributed Application Development) and 70-549 ( PRO: Designing and Developing Enterprise Applications by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework) Exams and along with these two exams, you have to pass two more exams as mentioned below. In other words, you have to pass four exams to upgrade your MCAD certification to MCPD: Enterprise Application Developer certifcation. You can take these exams in any order.

• First Path: Pass all of these four exams given below:
• 70-558 Exam: Upgrade: MCAD Skills to MCTS: Windows Applications by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
• 70-528 Exam: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 “ Web-Based Client Development
• Second Path: Pass all of these four exams given below:
• 70-559 Exam: Upgrade: MCAD Skills to MCTS Web Applications by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
• 70-526 Exam: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 “ Windows-Based Client Development
• Third Path: Pass the following four exams:
• 70-551 Exam: Upgrade: MCAD Skills to MCPD Web Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
• 70-526 Exam: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 “ Windows-Based Client Development
• Fourth Path: Pass the following four exams:
• 70-552 Exam: Upgrade: MCAD Skills to MCPD Windows Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
• 70-528 Exam: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 “ Web-Based Client Development
• Fifth Path: Pass the four exams as given below:
