Requirements for the LPI LPIC-3: Senior Level Linux Professional certification

LPIC-2 is a prerequisite for this certification.
Professionals must have an active LPIC-2 certification to receive LPIC-3 certification, but the LPIC-2 and LPIC-3 exams can be taken in any order A LPIC-2 certified professional can obtain the LPIC-3 certification status by successfully completing any of the number of “specialty” exams.

This certification requires you to pass any one of the speciality exams:

  • 117-300 - Replaces the pair of exams 117-301 and 117-302
  • 117-301 - Core
  • 117-302 - Mixed Environment specialist
  • 117-303 - Security specialist
  • 117-304 - Virtualization and high availability specialist
