Microsoft has changed the name of their MCSD exam Metro Style Apps to MCSD: Windows Store Apps. Other than the name change, other aspects of the exam including requirements are exactly the same. As before, there are two paths to achieving this certification—using HTML5 or C#.

To earn a MCSD: Windows Store Apps credential using HTML5, candidates need to pass three exams: 70-480, 70-481, and 70-482.

To earn a MCSD: Windows Store Apps credential using C#, candidates need to pass 70-483, 70-484, and 70-485 exams.

Candidates who have already earned their certification need to take a recertification exam every two years. For more information about this certification, please visit: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/mcsd-certification.aspx
