How to prepare for 70-315.

The 70-315 test measures an individual’s ability to develop and implement Web applications using Microsoft Visual C# .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. Before taking the 70-315 test, you should practice the following:

  1. Create an ASP.NET page and set control properties.
  2. Create a simple Web service, set a Web reference to it in an ASP.NET application, and return a simple value.
  3. Use ADO.NET objects in an ASP.NET page to retrieve data into a DataSet.
  4. Retrieve data from a SQL Server database with a FOR XML statement.
  5. Use ADO.NET objects in an ASP.NET page to retrieve data from a DataSet into an XML document. Use an XSD schema to validate the data.
  6. Enable the ASP.NET Session Service.
  7. Create a .NET component and install it in the global assembly cache.
  8. Place several Web controls on an ASP.NET page. Retrieve data from a database and populate the controls with data.
  9. Create deployment projects in Visual Studio .NET.
