CompTIA has recently begun including performance based questions for several of its exams in addition to the standard multiple choice questions. Microsoft renames MCSD: Metro Style Apps Certification

Microsoft has changed the name of their MCSD exam Metro Style Apps to MCSD: Windows Store Apps. Other than the name change, other aspects of the exam including requirements are exactly the same. As before, there are two paths to achieving this certification—using HTML5 or C#.


To earn a MCSD: Windows Store Apps credential using HTML5, candidates need to pass three exams: 70-480, 70-481, and 70-482.

To earn a MCSD: Windows Store Apps credential using C#, candidates need to pass 70-483, 70-484, and 70-485 exams.

The PMP Exam Is Changing On July 31st, 2013

The Project Management Institute (PMI) has released a new edition of The PMBOK Guide in January 2013. Accordingly, the new version of the Project Management Professional (PMP) Examination will be updated on July 31st, 2013. See:

Candidates who are going to take PMP exam after July 31, 2013, should prepare for their exam as per the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge—Fifth Edition (2013) released by PMI in January 2013.
