What is the UI structural components?

Rating:

The UI structural components depend on personalization. There are two types of UI structural components. They are as follows:

  • WebPartManager Control: The WebPartManager control is a type of UI structural component that is required on every Web Parts page. It coordinates all Web Parts controls on a single Web page. It manages Web Parts zones and the manner in which each zone is placed on the page. It tracks and controls different page display modes such as browse, connect, edit, or catalog mode. It also initiates and tracks connections and communication between Web Parts controls.

  • Zones: Zones is the second type of UI structural component that acts as layout managers on a Web Parts page. They contain and organize Web Parts controls. They offer common and consistent UI elements such as header and footer style, title, and border style for each Web Parts control.
