What is the NotSerializableException?

January 5th, 2007 by uCertify Leave a reply »

The NotSerializableException is thrown when an instance is required to have a Serializable interface. If a program fails to define the Serializable interface, then the NotSerializableException is thrown. The serialization runtime or the class of the instance can throw this exception. The argument should be the name of the class. The constructors are as follows:

NotSerializableException() It constructs a NotSerializableException object.

NotSerializableException(String classname) It constructs a NotSerializableException object with a message string.
