What is the File Types Editor?
Rating:
The File Types Editor is used to set up file associations on the target computer by linking up the file extension with the application that is to be installed. After the initial association, the file extension and the file type description are displayed in the file types list in the Windows Explorer. This can be very useful for custom file types in which the default command action, file description, icon, and extension can be associated with a specific application.
