What is the copy plus incremental backup technique?
Rating:
In the copy plus incremental backup technique, a copy backup is performed in conjunction with incremental backups. It does not delete all transaction log files after the completion of the backup. Therefore, it allows administrators to roll forward from any copy backup, just by adding all the incremental backups since the copy backup was performed.
