What is the Color Range command?

The Color Range command (Select > Color Range) is used to select a specific color or a range of colors in an image or within an existing selection. You can use the Color Range command repeatedly to select a subset of colors. The Color Range dialog box provides various options that enable you to fine-tune a selection.
