What is Remote Desktop?
Rating:
Remote Desktop is a Windows feature that allows users to remotely access their desktops, applications, data, and network resources. It is very similar to Remote Assistance but both features are used for very different purposes. If a remote user wants to access the desktop of another computer, Remote Desktop must be configured on that computer. A user must be either an administrator or a member of the Remote Users group to remotely connect to a desktop, but only an administrator can locally access the computer when another user is remotely accessing the same computer. The members of the Remote Users group do not have this privilege.
