Protected EAP-TLS (PEAP-TLS) is an authentication protocol. It uses certificates for both server authentication and client authentication. With this protocol, the server and client create an encrypted session before certificates are exchanged. It is a stronger authentication protocol than the EAP-TLS protocol because the authentication session data is encrypted.
