What is InterNetNews (INN)?

February 23rd, 2007 by uCertify Leave a reply »

InterNetNews (INN) is a Usenet news server package that includes innd, an NNTP server, and nnrpd, a newsreading server. INN’s core program is the innd daemon, which handles all incoming articles, stores them locally, and passes them to any outgoing news feeds if required. This daemon is started at boot time and runs continually as a background process.
