What is DEBUG?

DEBUG is a Cisco IOS command. It displays the current status of a router or a switch. It requests the switch/router to continue monitoring status. The DEBUG command displays results that are true over time. The DEBUG command helps users to watch the events while they are taking place. The DEBUG command has a large variety of options.
