What is an ISDN terminal adapter?

July 8th, 2007 by uCertify Leave a reply »

An ISDN terminal adapter is a device that is used to connect ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI) connections to other interfaces, such as EIA/TIA-232 on a router. It is basically an ISDN modem, but called a terminal adapter because it does not actually convert analog to digital signals.
