What is a virus?

A virus is an executable file that infects documents, has replacing ability, and avoids detection. Viruses are designed to corrupt or delete data files from the hard disk. A virus harms the operating system by replacing one or more programs. It slows down the speed of the operating system by making its multiple copies.
