What is a process color?

August 12th, 2009 by uCertify Leave a reply »

A process color is printed using a combination of the four standard process inks, i.e. cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK). The process colors are used when an artwork requires so many colors that using individual spot inks would be expensive or impractical, such as when printing color photographs.
