What is a moderated folder?
Rating:
A moderated folder is one that requires a moderator to approve all the messages that are posted to the folder. It is often used in customer mailing lists or forums where it is essential to limit the number of messages that get posted. It can be configured by opening the Administration tab page of the public folder's Properties dialog box. A moderated folder acts as an intermediary between the users who post items to it and the designated recipient to which the items sent to the public folder are forwarded.
