A checkbox is a form element that has a setting of "on" or "off". It can be used for selection of multiple options provided in the Web page. The checkbox object can be accessed in JavaScript by the name of the object provided in the input tag. A checkbox can be created in the input tag within the form tag.
The syntax for creating a checkbox is as follows:
