What is failback?
Rating:
Failback is a term associated with Cluster services. It defines how the failed over application services are moved back to the original node once the original node becomes functional or online. In a clustered environment, when a node fails, its services are failed over to another node (destination node) in the cluster. The destination node waits for the original node to become functional. As soon as the original node becomes functional, the services are failed back.
