The DBMS_RESULT_CACHE package is supplied with an interface that helps the DBA in administering the part of the shared pool that the SQL result cache and the PL/SQL function result cache are using. The same infrastructure is employed by both the caches.
The DBMS_RESULT_CACHE package provides the following subprograms:
- BYPASS Procedure
- FLUSH Function & Procedure
- INVALIDATE Function & Procedure
- INVALIDATE_OBJECT Function & Procedure
- MEMORY_REPORT Procedure
- STATUS Function
