What are the rules for writing a message-driven bean class?

Following are the rules for writing a message-driven bean class:

  • It must be declared public, non-abstract, and non-final.
  • It must implement the MessageDrivenBean and MessageListener interfaces.
  • It must contain the implementation for the ejbCreate(), ejbRemove(), setMessageDrivenContext(), and onMessage() methods.
