Following are the three methods that can be used to pass values to parameters in a procedure:

  1. Positional notation: In this method, values are passed to the parameters in the order in which the parameters are declared in the parameter list of the procedure.


  2. Named notation: In this method, each parameter is assigned a value with the help of => sign.


  3. Combined notation: In this method, both the positional and named notation methods are used. However, the positional parameters must precede the named parameters.
