What are the methods present in the EJBLocalObject interface?

Rating:

The methods present in the EJBLocalObject interface are as follows:

  • getEJBLocalHome(): This method is used to get a reference to a local home interface.

  • remove(): This method is used to remove an object of an enterprise bean.

  • isIdentical(EJBObject obj): This method is used to identify whether or not the two instances of a given enterprise bean are identical.

  • getPrimaryKey(): This method is used to obtain the primary key of an entity bean's object.
The local component interface extends the EJBLocalObject interface. The gethandle() method is used for getting a serializable object that is used to obtain a handle to a remote object. A local client need not be serialized to get the reference to the remote or component object. Hence, the getHandle() method is present in the EJBObject interface but not in the EJBLocalObject interface.
