Following are the limitations of Exchange Migration Wizard:
- It does not clean up mailboxes in the source organization while migrating user accounts to another organization. As a result, the original mailboxes in the source domain continue to receive messages even after the migration process is over.
- It cannot migrate mailboxes in the same Exchange organization.
- It does not preserve Access Control Lists (ACLs).
- It cannot migrate personal mail archives or personal address books.
- It cannot migrate distribution lists, Inbox rules, or public folders.
