What are the exceptions when all files are copied between two Web sites?
Rating:
The following are some exceptions when all files are copied or existing files are overwritten from a source Web site to a remote Web site or vice versa:
- A file with an older version is never copied to a file with a newer version. For this purpose, both local and remote Web sites might not have identical copies of all files, even if the entire Web site is copied.
- If the files that have been copied to the target Web site contain a deleted file, a user is prompted to indicate whether or not the particular file to be deleted from the target Web site. This prompt indicates that the target Web site still has the specific file that is already being deleted in the source Web site.
- If the files that are copied from a source Web site are already modified in a target Web site, a user is prompted to indicate whether the file is to be overwritten in the target Web site.
