What are Rules and Triggers?
Rating:
Rules and Triggers are not supported by the .NET Framework 2.0. However, it is possible to set up one or more rules using the Computer Management console. A trigger allows to associate a COM component or an executable to an incoming message and passes the properties of the message as parameters. A .NET application can be called from a trigger. It is possible by creating a COM callable wrapper for the assembly of the .NET application.
