Control flow tasks are units that define the tasks to be performed in a package. These tasks are connected and sequenced in the order in which they are to be executed. There are several inbuilt control flow tasks in an SSIS package. However, users can create their own custom tasks by using Visual Basic or Visual Basic .NET.
