Banners are advertisements that are placed in Web pages to be viewed by users. These banners are linked to the advertiser's site. These banners can be in the form of images or animations. The images and animations can be created by using different software applications such as Photoshop, Flash, etc. A banner can be placed anywhere in a Web page. Usually it is placed at the top, bottom, left, or right side of the Web page.
