Hold down the Ctrl + Alt (Windows) keys or the Command + Options (Mac OS) keys and press F to reapply the same filter as applied earlier, but with different settings, on a layer or channel. This keyboard shortcut opens a dialog box so that you can change the settings of the filter in it.
