How to use Format Painter?

The steps to use Format Painter are as follows:

1. Select the text whose formatting is to be copied.
2. Click the Home tab.
3. Click on Format Painter icon from the clipboard group.



4. Format Painter brush appears in place of arrow. Click on the text to which the formatting has to be applied.
