Take the following steps to set a Web reference:
- Open Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, and click File > New > Web Site.

- In the New Web Site dialog box, select ASP.NET Web Service, and click the OK button.

- The Web service code window opens.

- Right-click on the project in the Solution Explorer, and click Add Web Reference.

- In the Add Web Reference dialog box, enter the Web reference name, and click the Add Reference button.
