Take the following steps to set a Web reference:

  1. Open Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, and click File > New > Web Site.



  2. In the New Web Site dialog box, select ASP.NET Web Service, and click the OK button.



  3. The Web service code window opens.



  4. Right-click on the project in the Solution Explorer, and click Add Web Reference.



  5. In the Add Web Reference dialog box, enter the Web reference name, and click the Add Reference button.
