How to install Routing and Remote Access Server?

Take the following steps to install Routing and Remote Access Server:
- Run Routing and Remote Access from Start Menu > Programs > Administrative Tools > Routing and Remote Access.

- In the Routing and Remote Access console tree, right-click the computer on which RAS Server is to be installed, and click Configure and Enable Routing and Remote Access.

- In the welcome screen of the Routing and Remote Access Server Setup Wizard, click the Next button.

- On the Configuration page, select the configuration type, and click the Next button.

- On the Remote Access page, select a configuration type for the remote access server, and click the Next button.

- On the IP Address Assignment page, specify how IP addresses will be assigned to the remote clients, and click the Next button.

- On the Address Range Assignment page, click the New button to specify the IP address ranges.

- In the New Address Range dialog box, specify the IP address range, and click the OK button. There is no need to specify the number of addresses, as the Number of addresses field is automatically filled on the basis of the address range.

- On the Address Range Assignment page, click the Next button.

- On the Managing Multiple Remote Access Servers page, select the required option, and click the Next button.

- Click the Finish button.
