Take the following steps to import a COM type library by using Visual Studio 2005:
- Create a blank solution named AddCOM. Create a new VB 2005 project named AddCOMComponent1, as shown in the image below:

- Click the Project > Add Reference menu option in the solution explorer, as shown in the image below:

- The Add Reference dialog box appears that displays a list of components to be registered. Select the COM tab and search the components from the lists. Click OK button, as shown in the image below:
