Take the following steps to export all or part of the registry to a text file:
- Run REGEDIT from Start Menu > Run.

- In the Registry Editor window, click the File menu, and then click Export.

- In the Export Registry File window, type the name for the registry file. In the Export range section, select the All or Selected branch option, and then click the Save button.
