Take the following steps to create an organizational unit (OU):

  1. Run Active Directory Users and Computers from Start Menu > Programs > Administrative Tools > Active Directory Users and Computers.



  2. In the Active Directory Users and Computers console, right-click on the domain in which the OU is to be created. Click the New > Organizational Unit option.



  3. In the New Object - Organizational Unit dialog box, specify a name for the OU, and click the OK button.



  4. Close the Active Directory Users and Computers console.
