How to apply text animation?

Take the following steps to apply text animation:

  1. Select a text to animate.
  2. On the Animations tab, click the Custom Animation button.
  3. The Custom Animation task pane appears. Click the Add Effect button. Choose the Entrance option, and then select an effect such as Swivel.
  4. Click the drop-down list of the selected effect, and then select Effect Options.
  5. The Swivel dialog box appears. In the Animate text drop-down list, select the By letter option. Click the OK button.
