Take the following steps to animate an individual cell of a table:
- Select a table.
- Click on the Home tab.
- In the Clipboard group, click the Paste option. Click the Paste Special option from the drop-down list.
- The Paste Special dialog box appears. Select the Picture (Enhanced Metafile) option from the list. Click the OK button.
- Under the Picture Tools, click on the Format tab. Click the Group icon and select the Ungroup option.
- When Microsoft Office PowerPoint prompts to convert the picture into a drawing object, click the Yes button.
- Under the Drawing tools, click on the Format tab. Click the Group icon, then click the Ungroup option in the Arrange group. Press and hold the CTRL key while clicking the cells of the table. Click the Group icon.
- Click on the Animations tab. In the Animations group, click the Custom Animation button.
- Apply the effect by using the Add effect button.
