How to add new Web pages to a Web site using Visual Studio 2005?

The following are the steps to add new Web pages to a Web site using Visual Studio 2005:

  1. After creating a Web site, a user can add one or more Web pages to the Web site. Open the already created Web site named WebSite1. From the menu toolbar, select Website>Add New Item... menu option. An illustrated image is given below:



  2. The Add New Item dialog box appears. From the dialog box, select the Web Form option from the Visual Studio installed templates under the Templates option. In the text box of the Name option, type an appropriate name of the Web form. Select the default Visual Basic language option from the Language drop-down list. Check either one or both the Place code in separate file and the Select master page checkbox options. Finally, click the Add button. The Add New Item dialog box is shown below:



  3. If a user checks the Place code in separate file option from the Add New Item dialog box, a separate Web page is created named MyWebForm1.aspx in the source view, which is shown below:
