A chart is used to show numeric data graphically. It is often used to represent the relationship between different parts of data. It also helps in understanding the large quantity of data easily.

A table is the collection of information arranged in rows and columns. Each intersection of a row and a column is known as a cell. A table is useful in representing numerical data.

Formatting refers to the appearance of the text on a page. It includes layout, color, size, etc. that can help make the text look presentable.

Page break is a feature in which the text automatically moves to the next page when it encounters the end of the page. This feature is also known as soft page break. When a page break is inserted manually, it is known as hard page break.

Section break divides a document in various sections so that different types of formatting can be applied to different pages, e.g., if the document is typed in portrait orientation and the image is to be inserted in landscape orientation then the section break is used.

There are four types of section break, which are as follows:

1. Next page: It inserts a section break and start the new section on the next page.
2. Continuous: It inserts a section break and start the new section on the same page.
3. Even page: It inserts a section break and start the new section on the next even numbered page.
4. Odd page: It inserts a section break and start the new section on the next odd numbered page.

Drop cap is used to create a large initial capital letter to spread over multiple lines. The letter expanded in this way is said to be dropped. It is used to add interest to a newsletter or an article. Drop cap can be used to drop a single letter or word(s) and expand it to multiple lines in a paragraph.

Text wrapping is a feature in which the text automatically adjusts itself around the pictures, shapes, and tables with any position or style a user wants.

Alignment is the arrangement of text along the margin of a document. There are four types of alignment, which are as follows:

1. Left Alignment:

   When the text is aligned along the left margin of the page, then the text is said to be left aligned.

2. Right Alignment:

   When the text is aligned along the right margin of the page, then the text is said to be right aligned.

3. Center Alignment:

   When the text is aligned in the center of the page, then the text is said to be center aligned.

4. Justified:

   When the text is aligned along both the left and right margin, then the text is said to be justified.
