Conditional statement is used for decision-making. It performs an action depending on whether or not a condition is true. If the condition is true, the statements following the condition are executed. But if the condition returns false, it will disregard the enclosed actions and continue to the next statement that follows the condition block.

To decrease the space between text characters, take the following steps:

In Windows,

  1. Select the two text characters or place the cursor between them.
  2. Press the Ctrl+Alt+Left Arrow keys for decreasing the space by half a pixel, and the Shift+Ctrl+Alt+Left Arrow keys for decreasing the space by two pixels.

What is the leading property?

Leading is the amount of vertical space in pixels between lines of text.

The syntax of using the leading property is as follows:

TextFormat.leading = value

Here, value is a numerical value that defines the amount of space between lines of text. A positive value adds the amount of space between the lines, whereas a negative value reduces the amount of space.
